A MarketingSherpa study reports that 50% of the interviewed marketers say that social media and emails are somehow complementary, whereas 39% of the interviewees said there were absolutely complementary.
Other studies suggest that marketers are highly interested in integrating email programmes with social media next year, in 2010. One of the tactics that marketers think of is to let newsletter subscribers share messages in their social networks in order to increase the conversion rates.
